50th Aniversary of Sputnik !!!

50 years ago, the first man-made object was put into orbit sailing around the atmosphere,

with it's only 23 " in diameter and weight of 184 pounds.

It was a big step for humanity, which later assisted in bigger steps toward astronomy.
