Boston Dynamics created this interesting 4 legs Dog Robot. As seen on video BigDog may be used for military purposes cause it is able to carry up to 120lb load (imagine it equipped with guns and dynamites). BigDog looks very stable with self balancing structure as seen on video, and is very suitable on all kind of surfaces (even snow) .
BigDog is powered by gasoline engine that drives a hydraulic actuation system and sized as follows: 1 meter long, 0.7 meters tall and 75 kg weight.

wow really amazing story. I haven't seen yet such robot, and his self balancing power is amazing. Cool stuff.
