Homebrew for iPhone???

Hackers at Hackintosh forums seems to have discovered the TIFF Exploit for hacking into iPhone's 1.1.1 firmware and probably crack the system.

The method was discovered by hacker known with nick (Niacin) and seems that the method is same as used on PSP (Portable Sony PlayStation) for bringing it to homebrew system.

The iPhone hackers realised that by opening a special TIFF image which in return will crash Mobile Safari browser and create a buffer overflow and launch unsigned code on Apple's iPhone which can later be used for cracking the whole system and probably release of new hombrew system for iPhone.

As for now this is yet unfinished crackdown of Apple's iPhone but this could open the doors to a new Unlocked iPhone.

What they have there is a tri-band mobile phone, with 5 Megapixel autofocusing camera and 2.8 " touch sensitive TFT display and hardware QWERTY keyboard.

Armani Samsung Phone Now Official !

Cooperation of cellphone company and fashion company is not a news anymore (both sides have their own profitability), so Armani and Samsung bring their own device to consumers.

The product of two great company's is the 3 band 900/1800/1900 Gsm Cellphone with integrated 3 Megapixel camera, 2.6 " QVGA touch sensible display, MicroSD support and integrated bluetooth support. Armani-Samsung phone weights 85 gr and dimensions 87,5 x 54,5 x 10,5 and comes with Gorgio Armani logo on it.

The phone is expected to get in stock at beginning of November '07.

Hands on new "Voyager & Venus" from Verizon

New "Voyager" from LG claims to be the new iPhone killer with its touchscreen and full functional keybord. The Voyager will start selling next month, and the price should be less than apples iphone price. With its 3g network support, full-sized QWERTY keyboard , changable battery (different from iPhone), expansion memory card, 2 megapixel camera and song downloads by air (not only Wi-Fi) it looks like an real iPhone killer.

The next phone that comes from verizon is Venus from LG, with its high resolution dual screen, with interactive touch functionality on its second screen (looks really nice).
